nursing assistant requirements

In order to qualify to become a Nursing Assistant (NA), you must complete a state-approved nursing assistant program from another state or an OSBN-approved nursing assistant program, such as the program we offer at EMT Associates. Candidates can also complete the requirement through certain types of military training and work, or by completing specified nursing education programs. We encourage all candidates to review the full set of qualification at the OSBN NA Certification website

 

Applicants must also complete a background check, including a FACIS report, and a drug screen. This can be completed at Any Lab Test Now, located at 977 Garfield #6, in Eugene, OR 97402. The cost is $115

 

In order to complete the application, you must provide a government issued ID and a health insurance card. If you do not have health insurance please visit:

In addition, applicants must provide vaccination records and proof of a negative TB test from the past 12 months
